When a reservation is made, a deposit will be required. The deposit will be 25% of the total cost of your stay. Deposits can be paid by telephone with a credit or debit card or alternatively a cheque by post. If a deposit is to be paid by cheque please ensure that you telephone the above number for a booking reference. Confirmation of your booking will be forwarded within 7 days of receiving your deposit cheque.

 

Insurance

We recommend that once your holiday with us has been confirmed that you take out holiday insurance.

 

Arrivals

On the day of your arrival checking-in time is between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Please advise us if you intend to arrive after 6:00pm as we will not be able to guarantee your accommodation if not previously informed of your later arrival time.

 

Cancellations

All cancellations made within 24hours of the arrival date will be charged at 50% of the total booking rate.

 

Mid Week Breaks

Special rate mid week breaks are available please ask for details. Offers exclude Bank holiday weekends and peak times; July and August.

Access Statement

 

Introduction

· We aim to cater for the needs of all of our guests who stay at our 3 bedroom bed and breakfast.

. The following statement is a summary of our provisions.  If you have any specific questions that are not answered in this statement please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.

 

Pre Arrival

. There is a bus stop 300 metres from the entrance along level paths.

. There are 3 train stations within 18 miles of West Bay. (Dorchester, Weymouth & Axminster).

. Our Web site shows pictures of our bed rooms all of which are on the first floor.

. We can be contacted by telephone or email (details are below).

 

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

. There is ample private parking on the drive.

. We offer assistance with luggage to all guests.

. The entrance is accessed via a level path, with a very slight incline over the threshold, the entrance has sensory outside lighting.

 

Main Entrance & Reception

. The main entrance hall is light and spacious; the floor is carpeted, with stairs leading to the first floor.

. Guest registration takes part in the breakfast room, where a guest sofa is provided.

. Guests are escorted to their rooms and facilities are explained.

 

Public Areas – General (internal)

. Carpets are laid throughout the property except for the breakfast room which has a wooden floor and the en-suite bathrooms which are tiled.

. There are 15 stairs to the first floor, all guest bedroom are on the first floor.

. All bedrooms are en-suite.

. There is no WC on the ground floor.

. We have free Wifi access throughout the building.

. The bed and breakfast is no smoking throughout the premises.

 

Breakfast room

. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room on the ground floor.

. A sofa for our guests is provided in the breakfast room.

. Games and information leaflets can be found in the breakfast room.

. There is no WC on the ground floor.

. Vegetarian, gluten free and other dietary requirements can be catered for, if notice has been given at the time of booking.

 

Laundry

. We are able to dry coats and walking boots on request.

. A laundrette is 100 metres away in peak season and another is located 900 metres away which is open all year.

. Irons and Ironing boards are provided in all bedrooms.

 

Bedrooms

. All 3 bedrooms are on the first floor, which have a secure lockable door.

. All bedrooms are en-suite and the bath rooms are fully tiled.

. Televisions are in all bedrooms and have remote controls and teletext/subtitles.

. The master room is carpeted, has a king size bed, 2 arm chairs, the bathroom has a double shower unit.

. The family/twin room is carpeted, has a king size bed and a single bed (which is located in a separate section of the room) and a two seater sofa, the en-suite has a single shower unit.

. The standard double room is carpeted and has a standard double bed. The en-suite has a single shower unit.

All bedrooms have radiators, with adjustable heat settings.

 

Gardens

. Guests are welcome to sit in the garden area.
