	With the stunning golden glow of the majestic sandstone cliffs to the east and the shimmering radiance of Golden Cap to the west, West Bay, Dorset is a Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast. West Bay nestles south of Bridport, between Eype with Seatown to the west and Freshwater with Burton Bradstock to the east. Situated at the western end of Chesil Beach / Chesil Bank, the area forms part of the Dorset Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site within Lyme Bay. West Bay, Dorset is a wonderful seaside location for family holidays, countryside and coastal walks, fossil hunting, fishing/angling trips, scuba diving, paragliding, golfing, river boating and so much more. The Dorset historic market town of Bridport lies one and a half miles inland.

	The harbour and marina in West Bay offer children the delight of crab fishing. There are play areas, swimming pool with fun slides, a small bowling alley and amusement arcades. A larger health and leisure complex is in Bridport. Rowing boat hire is available and a fun fair visits West Bay during the prime holiday weeks. But above all, West Bay offers the family outstanding beaches to roam and the space to play.

Introduction We aim to cater for the needs of all our visitors in our home. The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions or require further information please feel free to contact us and we will endeavour to help. Pre-Arrival There is a bus stop approx 250 metres away, which has a frequent service both locally and along the Jurassic Coast. Access from the bus stop is flat. The main train stations are Axminster (12 miles ) or Dorchester (15 miles). Our website contains photographs of our guest rooms, which are all situated on the first floor. We can be contacted by telephone or email (details are below). Arrival & Car Parking Facilities There is ample parking on our private drive, which is directly out side the entrance. Access into the house is over level ground with a very slight incline outside the main door. We are always willing to help with guest luggage. Main Entrance & Reception Entrance is into our large hall which leads into the dining area. Completion of a registration card is required at time of arrival, you will then be escorted to your room and the facilities will be explained. Public Areas – General (Internal) The front door has a small step approx 1 inch high (2cm) The hall way and stairs leading to the bedrooms are carpeted. The Dining room has a wooden floor, additional seating is provided in the dining room. We are completely non smoking throughout the premises. Emergency lighting is in the main hall way, landing area and stairs. We do not have any public W.C. on the ground floor all toilets are located in the bedrooms. Dining Room Breakfast is served in the dining room, on the ground floor. Furniture is flexible and can be moved to accommodate any combination of guests. All diets can be catered for if previously arranged. Packed lunches are available if arranged in advance. Bedrooms All bedrooms are on the first floor, which is accessed via a staircase (no lift is available). All bedrooms have en-suite facilities. All bedrooms have remote controlled satellite televisions and clock radios. Walkers Baggage transfers are available if previously arranged at an additional charge.
